Itinerary
 
Day-1:
DELHI – NAINITAL (DISTANCE (270 KMS/6-7HRS APPROX.)
Pick up from the airport/railway station/ a designated point and travel by road to Nainital. Nainital is a town in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and headquarters of Nainital district in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas. Situated at an altitude of 1,938 meters (6,358 feet) above sea level, Nainital is set in a valley containing a pear-shaped lake, approximately two miles in circumference. On arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore various scenic sights and to enjoy a rejuvenating boat ride at pristine Naini Lake.
 
Day- 2:
NAINITAL
  The favourite hill station of Kumaon, Nainital sees horde of families and honeymooners each year during peak seasons. Its placid Naini Lake, pretty temples, busy bazaars and the stunning Himalayan peaks at a distance makes gorgeous panorama. The sightseeing tour of Nainital will take you to numerous famed destinations starting from a visit to the Mall which is the point of confluence of Mallital and Tallital, the view here is splendid. Pick your boat at the Boat House Club next and go boating on the crystal clear waters of Naini Lake.The lake tour of the town will take you to the shores of numerous tranquilizing streams such as Bhimtal Lake; the lake larger than famous Naini Lake is a beauteous sight which can be best enjoyed from the restaurant perched in the middle of the island in the lake. A cluster of small interconnected lakes nestled in the middle of an old oak forest Sattal Lake is a delightful sight. Next visit beauteous lake with nine corners Naukuchia Tal and Snow point the ideal location to view the mountains topped with snow and mist. After an eventful day drive back to the hotel, followed by dinner & overnight stay.
Day-3:
NAINITAL – KAUSANI (3HRS APPROX.)
After breakfast, depart for Kasauni via Almora. From Kausani on an hour's drive is Almora a sprawling regional capital of Kumaon. An exceptionally beautiful place that is referred as the 'Switzerland of India', Almora is perfectly defined by three adjectives; romance, charm and serenity. As you arrive here you are taken for a sightseeing tour of the famous and beautiful spots of Almora. On the city tour explore Bright End Corner for stunning sunset and sunrise views; built to commemorate Swami Vivekananda's visit to the region this place now has a small library stocked with books on spirituality. Next explore Deer park and Chitai Temple- characterized by horde of bells hanging in the premises to serve as offering to the lord on fulfilment of one's wish and Katarmal which is across the river Koshi. Continue your drive to Kausani and on arrival check in at the hotel& overnight stay
Day 4 :
KAUSANI
Marked by exceptional beauty, Kausani is nestled at an elevation of 1890 meters with lots and lots of scenic pleasure and charm. From Kausani you can sight individual snow-capped peaks of Himalayas. The hills draped in pine and oak forests and the region nurturing orchards of succulent apple, peace and pears. The beauty is worth being admired and the scenery is apt for nature walks. So enjoy full day amidst enchanting panorama at Kausani. On this day begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to Baijnath known world over for housing one of the 12 Jyotirlingas- Baijnath temples. Also pay a visit to the town of Bageshwar, situated on the confluence of River Saryu and Gomti, Bageshwar homes numerous temples dating back to 10th century AD. Explore these sites including the Bagnath temple situated in the middle of the town. Return to the hotel by evening and stay here for the rest of the night.
Day 5 :
KAUSANI – RANIKHET (3HRS APPROX.)
Drive to Ranikhet and check in at the hotel. The scenic scenery at Ranikhet has long been admired for its old-world charm, a fascinating vintage military ambiance and the lovely Himalayan panorama. The place is base to Kumaon Regiment of Indian Army. The tall English trees stand aligned makes perfect ambiance for romantic peaceful walks around. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure, where you can also explore the local city.

On today's sightseeing tour an assortment of temples, gardens and museums awaits you. Visit Jhula Devi Temple dedicated to Goddess Durga which is covered with hundreds of bells tied by devotees hoping to get their wishes accomplished. Also visit Hairakhan Temple and ChaubatiaBhaludam in Ranikhet. The later is situated close to a beauteous botanical garden which features exotic flowers; Bhalu Dam is a manmade lake surrounded by lush greenery and is an ideal picnic spot. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
 
Day 6:
RANIKHET
The city tour continues today in Ranikhet. On today's sightseeing tour visit Mankameshwar temple; established by Indian Army in Kumaon the temple is mainly visited by defence people and their families. Indulge in a game of golf at the nine hole golf course links at Upat and Kalika and next visit a tiny hamlet of Tarikhet which is renowned for its Gandhi Kuti where Mahatma Gandhi stayed once during struggle for independence. Pay homage to local deity at another significant temple, BinsarMahadev; surrounded by thick deodar forests the temple is also known for its architectural marvel. End the day with a visit to Majkhali and gaze at the towering views of mighty Himalayan peaks and then drive back to the hotel in Ranikhet.
 
Day 7 :
RANIKHET - CORBETT NATIONAL PARK (2-3 HRS APPROX.)
Drive next to Corbett National Park and check in at your hotel, rest of the day at leisure.

Corbett Wildlife National Park: Set up in 1936 as India's first wildlife national park and possibly the finest, the Corbett National Park was established in consultation with the great hunter and conservationist, Jim Corbett. The wildlife park spreads over some 920.9 square km at an altitude of 600 to 1100 metres at the foothills of western Himalayas in the districts of Nainital and PauriGarhwal. In its eventful 64-year life, it has grown considerably in size and now includes the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary as a part of its 1,319 sq km of reserved forest area.
 
Day 8 :
CORBETT NATIONAL PARK
Early morning, visit to Corbett National Park in an open Zeepand enjoy viewing all the wildlife. The national park in Uttarakhand acts as a protected area for the critically endangered Bengal Tiger of India and for various other wild species of the region. About 488 species of plants and diverse variety of fauna find their harmonious habitat at the park. Riding a jeep across the park one can observe the sub-Himalayan belt's geographical and ecological characteristics here. Adventure seekers are particularly fond of the park for not just the wildlife, but also the topography with its hills, reverie belts, grasslands and more mesmerises all. While you set on a wild rendezvous with the woods you will be accompanied by naturalists and other experts guiding and directing you through bewildering paths of the jungle. Also try an enthralling elephant safari (additional cost) for the real taste of adventure.
 
Day 9 :
CORBETT – DELHI (240 KMS. / 6HRS APPROX.)
Morning after breakfast set on a long drive back to Delhi. On arrival you will be transferred to airport/railway station for your journey back home.
