All the 14 luxury cabins housed within the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels are set with state of the art amenities and services such as in room safe, channel music, and tastefully decorated interiors. Dining is a pleasure experience aboard this luxury train in India. Guests may visit any of the two eateries to relish delectable delicacies from across the country. SwarnMahal and Sheesh Mahal are two restro bars serving gastronomic delights for the palate of the guests. Both restaurants have a bar to lift your spirit up in a perfectly decadent ambience.

Sheesh Mahal with thematic glassware interiors features spectacular floor lamps and crystal pelmets as well. This restaurant is adorned in aqua marine blue color.
The SwarnMahal is best visited for its wonderful gold inspiration. The classic chandeliers on the ceiling, the Indian décor essence and the traditional hospitality of the staff in this restro lounge, all invite one to come and explore this eatery.

Day 1
Delhi
Welcome on arrival (1600hrs) at Safdarjung Station New Delhi.
The luxurious Royal Rajasthan on Wheels takes you through a seven day exploration of the vibrant Rajasthan. The magic of the splendid journey begins at New Delhi and prepares you to weave the fabric of delightful imagination becoming reality over the next seven days. Your royal journey begins from Delhi and takes you through various Erstwhile Princely States. Welcome on board at Delhi with the ceremonial greetings at the Safdarjung station with traditional Aarti and Tika with garlanding and some mock tails to refresh your selves. After check in, you would be escorted to the respective cabins. Feel the difference of the World in the moving Palace which empowers luxury and tradition. At2100hrs Proceed towards your first destination of Rajasthan, Jodhpur.

Day 2 –Jodhpur
(Arrival: 0800hrs. Breakfast on board | Departure: 1630hrs)
You will arrive in Jodhpur on the 2nd day of the journey by about 06:00 hours. Post-breakfast you will resume your Royal Rajasthan on Wheels itinerary across the city and arrive at the attractions including the JaswantThada, Mehrangarh Fort, and the UmaidBhawan Place. Return to the train by 15:30 hours to travel to the next destination Udaipur, known as the city of lakes.
 
Day 3 - Udaipur/ Chittorgarh
(Arrival at Udaipur: 0600hrs Breakfast on board| Departure for Chittorgarh: 1430hrs) & ( Arrival at Chittorgarh : 1645hrs|Departure for SawaiMadhopur : 2200hrs)
At 06:00 hours on the 3rd day, you will arrive in Udaipur that houses the lake Pichola. The City Palace complex and the SahelionkiBaari are a few of the most significant attractions housed here that are worth a visit. Wind your Udaipur visit by embarking on a boat ride on the Lake Pichola.

Return to the train to leave for the next destination Chittorgarh that is located at a distance of about 112 km away. The Chittorgarh fort with its numerous towers is the most famous landmark here. Visit the fort and be a spectator to the light and sound show in the evening, organized especially for the guests of the Rajasthan Royal on Wheels.

Return to the train and carry on with the royal train journey to the next location SawaiMadhopur.

Day 4
SawaiMadhopur/ Jaipur
On the 4th day of the tour, arrive in SawaiMadhopur,SawaiMadhopur - Located in the eastern part of Rajasthan, SawaiModhupur’s claim to fame today is the Ranthombore fort &Rathambore national park. Visit the national park to catch a glimpse of the majestic tigers roaming around in the open wilderness & also pay a visit to the imposing fort to turn a page in the history of Rajasthan. There is also a temple on route the park by the name of AmareshwarMohadeo temple which can be visited by tourist. Lunch on board.

Jaipur - Welcome by caparisoned elephants & sweet music of the auspicious ‘Shehnai’. Watch the awesome ‘HawaMahal’ (the palace of winds), elephants ride at Amber Fort, shopping of centuries old object de arts & other items. Lunch at a 5 star hotel / on board & visit to the city palace residence of the Erstwhile Maharaja of Jaipur which houses a museum of amazing centuries-old artifacts& the observatory built by the founder of jaipur maharaja Sawai jai Singh-II who himself was noted astronomer.

Day 5 – Khajuraho
(Arrival : 1000hrs Breakfast on board | Departure: 2000hrs)
You will arrive in Madhya Pradesh and more specifically in Khajuraho,Khajuraho was the capital of the Chandela Kings, now famous for its magnificent temples. The temples were built by Chandela dynasty between 950 A.D. and 1050 A.D, are example of Indo Aryan architecture. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and the Jain Tirthnkras, the temple show cases the art and architecture of medieval India. The Khajuraho temples have declared a world Heritage site. The Temples of Khajuraho are divided in to three geographical groups western, eastern and southern.
After breakfast on train tourist will visit western group of temples which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and considered to be the most evolved example of central Indian temple architecture. This temple is also the largest of Khajuraho temples.
Lunch at Hotel Clarks,Khajuraho.
After Lunch visit of South group of temples and museum.
Return to train evening tea, rest and shower.
In the evening guest will witness light & sound (son-et-lumire). The show detailing the history of Khajuraho has been introduced at the western group of temples.
Return to RROW, dinner on board and departure for Varanasi
Day 6 –Varanasi
(Arrival : 0600hrs | Departure: 1930hrs)
Early morning on the 6th day of the trip, you will arrive in Varanasi (Banaras) - Varanasi is the oldest city of the world. Varanasi is more than 3000 years old and known as the city of temples. The city is situated on the bank of river Ganga. The river Ganga is worshipped as a living goddess. There are more than 700 temples and 90 odd Ghats. Visvanatha temple or Golden temple is dedicated to the lord Shiva. The Ganga Ghats (River Fronts) are the most popular pilgrimage spots of Varanasi. The holy city has been a symbol of spiritualism, philosophy & mysticism for thousands of years and has produced great saints & personalities like Guatam Buddha, Mahaveer, Kabir, Tulsidas, Sankaracharya, Ramanuja and Patanjali. It was the city chosen by the Buddha for first turning the wheel of his law for mankind.
Unforgettable sun rise boat ride when the temples along the river front are bathed in the sun light. Visit of Bharat Mata Mandir and BHU after boat ride.
Return to RROW for breakfast.
Visit of Sarnath and Archaeological museum. Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first major sermon after gaining enlighten, Chinese scholar Huieh Tsang visited Sarnath in 640AD.
Lunch at Hotel GatwayTaj Ganges and return to RROW for rest.
Evening visit of Ghat-Maha-Aarti at the Ghat Ritualistic worship (Aarti) to the river at DahsawmeghGhat, oil lamps and incense are lit, flowers are offered and bells ring out in unison while sacred mantras are chanted.
Return to RROW, Dinner on board, departure for Agra
 
Day 7 – Agra
(Arrival : 1000hrs Breakfast on board | Departure: 2100hrs)
Agra is mostly known for being home to the TajMahal:

Visit TajMahal
TajMahal was built on the banks of river yamuna by emperor Shajahan in the memory of his beloved wife AjumandBano. The site selected for the tomb was given by the Maharaja of Amber. White marble was taken from makrana Rajasthan. The chief architect was Ustad Isa Afendi and UstadLahori. Artists were invited from Persia, Turkey and Baghdad. The work of mausoleum began in 1633 and 20,000 workers laboured for 17 years to build it. The marble walls are carved with motifs and inlaid work of precious and semi-precious stones. TajMahal is a world heritage site.

Visit of Agra Fort
This was originally made of bricks Babar was the first Mughal Emperor who stayed in this fort. Humayun was crowned here; Akbar rebuilt the fort with red sand stone and decided to make it his capital. Shahjahan destroyed some of the old buildings in order to make his own. Shajahan was imprisoned by his own son in this fort. The fort was witness of Indian mutiny of 1857. Shahjahan got the inspiration for the Red Fort of Delhi from here. Agra Fort is a world heritage site.Lunch at 5 star Hotel.

Dinner and overnight stay on board the train. Travel down to Delhi to bring the tour to an end.
 
Day 8 – Delhi

After 7 days of a roller coaster journey across some of the most popular destinations in India, this itinerary of the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels Tour will come to an end after you arrive in the Safdarjung railway station , New Delhi.

Post breakfast, disembark and carry on with your sightseeing tours across the country or proceed towards home

The ticket price for the one week trip starts from USD 4725 per person per journey on deluxe cabin on twin sharing basis and the price would increase according to cabins type.

PLEASE NOTE :

10% Surcharge will be charged on departure during Christmas/New Year.
Service Tax @ 4.50% will be levied on the fare of Royal Rajasthan on Wheels.
15 USD per pax per journey will be charged against the payment of commercial tax in addition to the tariff mentioned above.
Children younger than 5 years will be charged 10% of total cost (Age proof of children is to be provided, which is required at the time of issuance of tickets).
50% fare for the children of 5-12 years.
No charter is allowed to be booked during Christmas & New Year period.

ROYAL RAJASTHAN ON WHEELS BOOKING PROCEDURE :

Advice departure dates with number of persons & cabins required
We require Name/sex/nationality of all the passengers to process booking.
In case of children< 12 years we also require date of birth.
Booking will be confirmed on receipt of MINIMUM 20% of ticket value as advance deposit.
Booking request made less than 60 days before train depart will be confirmed on receipt of one time full payment.
We require Passport copies of all passengers with Indian visa to issue E-travel documents.
Indian Nationals can forward any photo id proof (viz Passport; Driving license; Adhaar Card)
Saloon/cabin will be allocated on date of departure with boarding cards.
Advice arrival/depart details in New Delhi & interest to book Hotels through us.

ROYAL RAJASTHAN ON WHEELS CANCELLATION RULES :

RTDC is the Principal train tour operator & liability of Green Chili Holidays is limited to that of booking agent only.
Cancellation requests must be made in writing & acknowledged by us.
MINIMUM cancellation levy of 20% of total ticket value if cancellation request made > 65 days in advance
Cancellation request made between 65 to 35 days before tour depart will attract cancellation fee of MINIMUM 50% of total ticket value.
Passengers are liable to pay full 100% of Total ticket value, if cancellation request less than 35 days before train depart.
Request for change in travel date & passenger names is governed by cancellation rules
Cancellation rules will apply -In case payment OR documents requested are not received as per booking terms & conditions.
In special case-where travel date of same passengers needs to be postponed to future specific dates, Minimum US$ 100 per person will be charged & subject to approval by RTDC Authorities
Request for refund of advance/full payment, due to death or serious illness of passenger will be at sole discretion of RTDC Authorities.
In case of scheduled train tour depart ,being cancelled by RTDC authorities "due to technical reasons ;full advance received by Green Chili Holidays will be made with no further liability towards loss suffered by Passenger towards cancellation of Domestic / International air tickets; Hotel Booking & Indian visa Etc.
Request for refund due to refusal of Indian Visa Or Overseas passenger landing in India without proper travel documents-will be governed by cancellation rules.
No refund will be made in case of no-show Or self-curtailment of journey.
Un-willingness to follow train tour as per schedule will be non-refundable
At times, due to local logistics if Train tour Manager is forced to cancel certain scheduled sightseeing tours Or activities-no refund will be made to passenger
Request for train tour cancellation due to increase of taxes/tariff by RTDC authorities will be governed by cancellation rules.
Where passenger makes request for refund due to self-cancellation, it will be governed as per RBI regulations & Green Chili Holidays reserves the right to charge Service Charge of MINIMUM US$ 100 per person & refund will be made as prevailing rate of exchange.


IMPORTANT :

Overseas guests are requests to pre-purchase Tour Insurance from country of origin of travel
From 3rd week of December to 2nd week of January-North India experiences heavy fog conditions at night & it is suggested to passengers to arrive at least one day earlier in Delhi
Liability of Green Chili Holidays is limited to that of booking agent only & not that of Principal train Tour operator
Liability of Principal train Tour Operator is limited to as defined in Indian Railways Act.
Disputes (if any) are subject to jurisdiction of courts of New Delhi (India) only.
